Benji is a 6 year old male Terrier Cross. He came to us after being found straying, he was in very poor condition and clearly had not been loved for some time. He is a great little lad who is looking so much better since arriving in foster. He is good with other dogs and would love to be re homed with another similar sized friendly dog who likes to have a play and then cuddle up for a snooze. Benji loves his humans and will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day as he does tend to follow his people everywhere.
Benji is clean in the house, he did howl initially in the car when collected but it was felt this was a fear reaction as he was very uncertain, with gentle continued positive exposure this will improve and he has made progress already. He loves his walks and is a really affectionate little chap.
Considering the condition he arrived in, with his hair matted and balding, smelling and very underweight, Benji has made amazing progress and looks great. He has also lost lots of his teeth due to infection. He eats well though and this is all healed now and not causing him any issues. He is fine to be re homed with older teenagers 12+ as we have only a very limited history for him.
Benji is currently being fostered in Beckenham Kent. Please go to our website and complete an application form. We reply to all applications, should you not receive a response within 48 hours then please email and we will be pleased to assist you. Home check and set donation applies.
