Teddy is a 3 year old male Shih Tzu. He has come into rescue as his owners circumstances changed, he is an energetic lad who loves exercise and will not be happy as a couch potato. He will need new owners who are around for most of the day and who have an active lifestyle. He loves to be out walking and playing. Teddy can suffer from separation anxiety so owners who understand this would be great.
The foster home he is in meets his needs so this has not posed an issue, there is the potential for it to re surface in his new home so owners will need to have an understanding. He can be a little reactive whilst on lead so will need continued work in this area, off lead he is good with other dogs and loves to play. We only have a limited history for Teddy so any children in the home will need to be used to having dogs and at least 10+.
Owners who are able to continue his training and ensuring that he receives mental as well as physical stimulation would be great. Teddy needs clear direction and boundaries in his new home and with these in place will he will blossom. He travels well in the car and has been clean in the house provided he is reminded. Teddy has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Teddy is currently being fostered in TW13 Feltham Middlesax.
