Sunrise is a golden Labrador cross of around nine or ten years old, she is fostered near Norwich, Norfolk. Sunrise was adopted from us a couple of years ago but very sadly had come back into our care as her adopter sadly passed away. Sunrise was adored by her mum and we must find someone who will love and care for her equally as well. Sunrise is a quirky character but has come on leaps and bounds in her previous home. She used to be scared of anything and everything but love and security has altered her into a much easier dog. Despite her years she is however still very strong and will pull a little on the lead so she is not suitable for anyone elderly that will not be able to keep hold of her lead.
Sunrise is a quiet girl at home that follows me from room to room, always wanting to be where I am but not excessively seeking out fuss. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and ideally but not essentially needs to have another dog in the home for reassurance and to play with. Sunrise lives well with children in her foster home but we were told that she was very worried by visiting children in her previous home so perhaps an adult home or children over twelve would be best. She’s still a bit of a worrier so it could be that as my children are a constant factor in her life she’s not at all concerned where as visiting children aren’t and she struggles to deal with their intermittent appearance.
Sunrise is a beautiful dog who has clearly had a lot of trauma in her past. She initially came from a public shelter in Romania and her mental scars run deep but she is still trying really hard to fit in and really is no trouble at all. This is a special dog that needs a special home, not only for her but in memory of her previous mum who loved her so much. She is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
