Szilvi is an 18 month old, large spayed female Cross-Breed (shoulder height: 65 cm, weight: 30 kg). She has a beautiful curly black coat a lovely temperament. She was dumped in a forest in rural Hungary with her mum and 8 siblings when they were less than 2 month old (Feb 2019). Szilvi and 1 of her siblings are still waiting to be given the chance for a better life.
Szilvi has a lovely gentle character, she is friendly and patient with other dogs, never gets into a conflict. She is a calm but active girl who is happy to play with her doggie mates. She is a quiet girl who does not bark a lot. She is perfect with all dogs, playful, sociable and never aggressive. She currently lives with a pack of dogs in a shelter so she is thoroughly socialised with all kinds of doggies. She is friendly and cuddly with people she knows. As she’s sadly been growing up in a shelter, she is quite shy and timid with people she doesn’t know and will need some time to make friends with you. However, she has a heart of gold and a beautiful smiling face that tells all about her real personality! She is beautiful inside and out.
Szilvi does not get regular walks and it is down to her new family to train her how to walk nicely on and off the lead. She lives in a kennel environment outdoors hence her family will need to be prepared to house train her if needed. Szilvi would be best suited for a family without or with children over 14 where she is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for her her training and socialisation.
Her new family will need to give her time to settle and support and guider her well in getting her used to her new environment. She would like to be part of family life and go on nice walks and holidays with her humans. Her soft and sociable nature makes her a perfect family pet and she deserves the best home. She would be happy living with a friendly doggie mate, but may as well be happy living with her humans to care for her only. As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy, well balanced dog.
Szilvi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
