Lola is a beautiful medium sized 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed. She came over to the UK from Romania when she was just 6 months old. Lola was in a nice home but unfortunately circumstances changed just before lockdown and Lola had to be moved very quickly into kennels in Nottingham.
Lola is having a great time in kennels, she is friendly towards the kennel staff and other dogs she knows. She has had some time in a family home with another resident dog, so she can behave well in a normal home environment but she will need to be with someone who has experience of dogs as Lola needs to learn some more doggie manners and social skills.
Lola can bark at the window at people going past in the street, she is okay to be left alone for short periods of time. She is not destructive and enjoyed a good brush and tummy tickle. She doesn’t have reliable recall so must be on a lead or longline for exercise.
Lola would benefit from a home with no other pets or children and someone who is experienced in breeds such as Collie, or Springer spaniel who are very intelligent, have lots of energy and need to be well trained.
Lola can take a bit of time to get to know someone, but treats and kindness can win her over very quickly. She is a super natured dog that needs a second chance at a lovely happy home, but you must be able to do training with Lola and exercise her well. She is not the dog for a first time dog owner.
Fully vaccinated and microchipped – due to be neutered once vets open for non emergency operations.
