Lola is a 6 month old, medium sized Cross-Breed puppy (shoulder height: 37 cm). She was rescued from a kill shelter with her 3 sisters over 3 months ago. Her siblings have now found their forever homes, but poor Lola is still waiting. She is a happy active puppy who looks a Labrador cross but smaller, expected to grow to a smaller medium size once fully grown.
She is well socialized with dogs and cats and she is happy around children. She may be shy with strangers initially and will need some socialisation around people as she does not meet many strangers. She currently lives in an outdoor kennel and will probably need to be toilet trained in her new home. Training her to walk nicely on and off the lead is also down to her new family.
She had a rectal prolapse when she was rescued months ago which she had surgery on. This will need to be treated if anything triggers it to return. She would be best suited for a family without or with children over 8 where she is not left alone for long periods of time and there’s time for her training. Her future family will need to give her time to settle in her new home and continue her socialisation and training, taking her to puppy classes is recommended.
She needs an active family who take her on nice walks and holidays and include her in their activities. She would probably be happiest living with a doggie mate or a cat to keep her company, but she may as well be happy living with her humans to care for her only.
As all rescue dogs, she will need love, patience, time and commitment from her adopting family. She’s currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
The right owners will need to agree to have her spayed once fully grown.
Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
