Minerva is a black beauty 2-3 year old female Pointer Cross. She is currently with a foster in Lanarkshire (Scotland). She is in our care as her previous owner wasn’t able to offer Minerva the active life she needs. Minerva is originally from Spain and traveled about a year ago to the UK.
There is very little known about her past while she was in Spain, but her life there surely wasn’t easy. She is a bit nervous when first meeting someone and has initial trust issues of humans and other dogs, but they are quickly gone when she feels she can trust you.
As soon as she warms up she is very affectionate and loving. Minerva has grown up with other dogs and with a cat. She loves cuddling and playing with her toys and other dogs. Minerva is house trained, knows some basic commands and walks well on the leash.
Nevertheless she is still a young girl and always curious to learn new things. She is a very active girl. She loves to run, loves of off-lead exercises, loves to play and needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation. She is a smart dog with a lot of potential. She learns quickly and even enjoys it. She is social with dogs and people and loves the company and interaction with them.
Minerva’s perfect home is a dog experienced young/middle aged person/couple without young children or with another young, active dog. Minerva would adore a family who could devote time to teach her lot of new things and increase her confidence. She is very loyal and always wants to be near you.
She would be the perfect companion for outdoor activities like jogging, hiking or agility. But she is also a dog which after an exhausted days of running and playing enjoys to relax and get cuddles. In short, he has both the energy and love to become an amazing companion for life.
We require from the potential adopters that they are able to travel to Minerva’s current foster to meet her in person. Also in the case the adoption is successful they have to be able to travel and pick her up.
If you think that Minerva would be the right addition to the family please get in touch with us.
