Scotty is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a complex character. He came to the UK in February from the Radauti shelter where he had been a long term resident. Scotty came to his foster home not liking to be touched, in fact any touch would make him scream, but he is making good progress with his foster mum and dad. He allows them, on his terms, to touch him and to even brush him on occasions.
Scotty is not keen on other members of the family touching him yet but he will take treats from them and let them have a little touch of his nose, but then backs away. Because of his fear of touch, Scotty will need to be in an all adult household. Scotty is fostered in Feltham Middlesex.
Scotty loves his foster brother and all other dogs he has come into contact with and he will need another dog in the home to give him a positive role model and for reassurance. Scotty needs a very understanding home, one where he can be left to settle and take his time to feel comfortable with being touched.
Scotty really enjoys his walks and does not pull on a lead. He is a medium size dog on a small dogs legs but boy does he love to run! Off lead he trots along behind you and then will take off like a rocket the wind whistling though his fur. He loves rolling around in the grass smiling.
If you think that you could offer Scotty the time and patience needed for him to flourish and grow, he will reward you ten fold. Our adoption fee is £270. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm.
