Berci – 6 year old male Hungarian Puli Cross

Berci is a 6 year old medium size neutered male Hungarian Puli Cross (shoulder height: 48 cm, weight: 15 kg). He was saved from a kill shelter 1.5 years ago and has been living in a large shelter in Hungary since then.

Berci is a sweetheart who loves the company of people and is happy to go up for a cuddle any time he sees a chance to get your attention. He is a full of fluff beauty with suspected puli ancestors whose hair will need some TLC. He is medium energy level, quite alert and likes being aware of what’s going on around him. He can be slightly aloof with strangers but he’s a cuddly boy with anyone he knows.

He is happiest when he can be around his humans. He is getting on well with other dogs and avoids any conflicts. He does not initiate a play with his doggie mates but lives peacefully among them. He currently lives in an outdoor kennel with other dogs so we are unsure about his house training needs. His new family needs to be prepared to housetrain him if needed. He is not taken on walks and therefore training him to walk nicely on and off the lead is down to his new family.

Berci would be best suited for a family without children who are happy to spend precious time with him and would not leave him alone for long periods of time. He would like to be treated as a member of the family and be included in family activities, taken on nice walks and holidays.

Experience with rescue dogs is a definite bonus. He could live with a friendly doggie mate but he would probably be happiest living with his humans to care for him only. As all rescue dogs, he will need love, patience, time and commitment from his adopting family.

Berci is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption Fee.
